Privacy
Last updated 23 October 2026.
This policy covers the Longlight app on iPad, iPhone and Mac, and this website.
- No Longlight account
- No Longlight server
- No analytics or tracking
- iCloud sync through your own account, with amounts in encrypted fields
Your plan data
Everything you enter stays on your devices. There is no Longlight account and no Longlight server. The app's own text says it: an automated audit run on every change confirms that no networking code exists in it at all.
iCloud sync
iCloud sync is off by default. When you turn it on, your plans sync between your own devices through your personal iCloud account, with financial values stored in encrypted fields. Apple's iCloud terms govern that storage. Longlight has no access to it.
Analytics and tracking
Longlight has no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or third-party software in it. It does not know how you use it.
Purchases
Longlight Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and Longlight never sees your payment details. The app reads only the entitlement the App Store grants it, on the device, to open Pro's pages.
Export and deletion
You can export any plan as a JSON file and import it again. Deleting a plan removes it from the device, and from your iCloud when sync is on.
This website
longlight.app is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no script. Its fonts and pictures come with it, and nothing on it is loaded from another company. The host's ordinary server logs record a request's address and time, as any web host's do.
Children
Longlight is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
